Look out for the https letters at the start of the URL displayed in your browser bar. This will inform you that the data you are sending and receiving is secure and is not visible to any third party. With Quanti, you'll see the https letters every time sensitive content such as password, log in or personal details is being sent between your computer and our servers. Depending on the browser you're using, you may see a padlock symbol or the address bar highlighted in green, in addition to the https prefix.

Is customer data encrypted?

All of the customer data stored on our servers at Quanti is fully encrypted. This makes it virtually impregnable and renders it safe from hackers or accidental data breaches. Any sensitive customer information we hold is safeguarded using Advanced Encryption Standard. This government-approved encryption level is used by agencies to protect classified information up to 'Top Secret' level. Moreover, because we keep encrypted information and access keys on separate systems, in the extremely unlikely event of a data breach, the information would be rendered useless. How safe is your password?

In keeping with our security credentials, we deploy Cryptographic Hash Function to safeguard passwords. This is a one-way encryption algorithm that does not allow for decoding the password back to its original form. Whenever one of our members logs in, we will always encrypt the data they enter first and then compare it to the encrypted version stored on our database. This means that we never know the original password. This provision enables us to retain customer trust and ensures that passwords are never compromised.

In addition, there are a number of measures that every user can take to make their password more secure. Choose a password that is at least eight characters long and includes a mixture of letters and numbers, some of which should be case-sensitive. Avoid using the same password for multiple websites.
